They will work with you to assess the need for medication as part of your treatment plan and provide a high level of follow-up care.

Individual Therapy for Adults
Individual therapy (also called counseling or psychotherapy) is a process in which you work one-on-one with a psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, or licensed professional counselor to address any issues, concerns, or problems that detract from your quality of life. In therapy, you will develop a confidential collaborative relationship with your psychotherapist to meet your goals for positive change. All of the practitioners at CM Counsel offer individual therapy for adults 18+.

Marriage & Couples Therapy
The focus of marriage or couples therapy is the relationship between two people. This type of therapy helps couples of all kinds rectify differences, recognize and resolve conflicts and improve functioning in the relationship. With the help of one of our therapists, you can make thoughtful decisions about rebuilding or improving your relationship.

Child & Adolescent Therapy
The psychotherapists at CM Counsel take a developmental approach to therapy with children and teens. Therapy can help kids develop problem-solving and coping skills, change dysfunctional behaviors, manage stress, manage strong emotions, meet social challenges and adjust to changes in the family

ADHD Testing
ADHD evaluations include clinical interviews and rating scales across two or three domains to assess executive functioning, distractibility, impulsivity, and other related behaviors and characteristics that could indicate an attention deficit disorder.

Family Therapy
In family therapy, the focus of treatment is the family as a whole. The family is a system that impacts the experience and functioning of all the members. Family therapy helps members of the family resolve conflicts and improve communication. Your CM Counsel therapist will provide a supportive approach to guide your family through stressful times.

Group Therapy
Group therapy involves one or more therapists providing psychotherapy to several people at the same. Often. the therapy group will focus on a particular issue like depression or stress management. Sometimes the group is comprised of people in similar circumstances. For example, a therapy group may be comprised of teenage girls, people in chronic pain, or married couples. Please contact the office to learn more about current therapy groups offered at CM Counsel.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a type of behavior therapy with many theoretical explanations. Simply, hypnosis is a state that is characterized by alterations in perception or memory, an increased capacity to control physiologic functions in the body, and an increased capacity to access normally unconscious processes and learning. The therapist and client work together to identify the best way to enter this state and to use it to change thoughts and actions that are no longer useful or effective.
